Invalidity Benefit

Paid to a member who has lost his/her earning capacity and has physical or mental incapacity, as verified by the NSSF Doctor.

Qualifying Conditions

  • The claimant must produce certified medical documents from a qualified medical doctor and prove that he/she has lost the earning capacity.

Requirements

  • Two current passport-size photographs of the claimant
  • Copy of valid Personal Identification e.g. National Identity Card / Driving Permit/ Passport/ Financial Card/ Employer Identity Card
  • Proof of Bank Account details e.g. Bank slip, 1 page of a Bank Statement, and Bank letter confirming bank details
  • Disengagement letter e.g. Termination letter OR End of Contract letter OR Employer Introduction letter
  • Doctors Recommendation Letter (The client may be required to see the Fund Doctor)
  • Certified High court order appointing Manager for Estate for Persons of Unsound mind Present original documents when submitting a claim for comparison with copies
