The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) has started the process to develop six modern apartments, the Fund has announced.
The apartments will be constructed on Ismail Road, Mbuya in Kampala. The development, approved by the NSSF Board of Directors is in line with the Fund’s stated priority to ensure that all planned projects and investments take off, are completed and become profitable.
The Fund has therefore invited eligible bidders to present sealed bids for the provision of construction services for the apartments, to be received not later than 11.00am on February 17, 2010. A complete set of bidding documents in English may be purchased by interested parties upon submission of a written application and payment of a non-refundable fee of Ushs. 200,000.
The bidding process will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Government of Uganda’s Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, 2003. It is open to all bidders from Uganda and all bids are required to be accompanied by a bid security of Ushs. 28,000,000.
